So we have the "before" pics. When do you expect tp post "afters" with some sweet glass mounted? I need a long range rig.

Hey Martin! I actually have been following the "Schap Method" and have been trying to swap into an AR or AK. No luck so far. If I had bought an a .308, I would have some takers, but .300 WSM is not a caliber people seem juiced about.

For me it's expensive to shoot, but you renewed interest in my gun renews my own interest. It's just so damn expensive to shoot, but with a VX-II or Nikon on it and a bipod, I could learn to deal.

I am not sure if I am keeping her, but if I do, I know she will get the job done, regardless of what CBS/NBC says...

Where do you have it listed? I got several responses on WTA when I posted a gun on there. Of course you would likely have to ship it (=PITA) but sometimes with a more "boutique" caliber that might be the ticket.

I've been hitting people up on vaguntrader.com who have an AR they want to trade. I might even consider trading for a complete Upper, but I am starting to wonder if I should just buy and mount the scope and bipod and make it a keeper, since trading seems to be a PITA!

Go here to feel good about having a 1000 yard gun. If I was you I would keep it, save up for some training and be a dangerous dangerous man.

Your advice is solid, and it's funny you've given it when you did. I've been thinking now I should simply keep it and focus on purchasing some glass.

I am thinking that a Monarch is probably the right way to go, but I need to start looking through the scopes. Initially, I thought VX-II, and still may go that route, but have been reconsidering. I'll let you know what I come up, and as always, suggestions are welcome!
